Glossier Makeup Review

I came across the new makeup company Glossier from a friend who was using their lip stain when we were out one day. I asked her about it and she couldn't express how much she loved their products.

I decided to give them a go and try out a couple of their vegan products. Just as an FYI now before I begin I want to make it clear not all Glossier products are 100% vegan BUT they are 100% cruelty free. I had done prior research before ordering to make sure they products I picked were vegan!

Today I am going to tell everyone my review on the "Perfecting Skin Tint" and the "Vinylic Lip".

I tried out the skin tone color G10 for the skin tint, nervous at first because since I had never tried out this company and was ordering online I wasn't completely sure which tone to get. When trying it, it matched my skin tone perfectly. It was moisturizing and felt light on my face. I typically do not like heavily, thick coverage foundation because it makes my face feel heavy, oily, and cakey. With Glossier's skin tint I felt I had the perfect amount of coverage that did not make me feel like I was using loads of makeup but still covered up my minor blemishes.

The "Vinylic Lip" was actually a product I had tried perviously because my friend had let me use hers. I fell IN LOVE with it right away. I got the "Pony" color which is a neutral/brownish tinted lip. The applicator is a soft tip that has a push button to release the color. It glides onto your lip easily and without a mess. Typically, when I put lip color on I need a pencil and the lip stick itself. With this product I felt I could neatly apply the color without it looking messy and not precise.

As for how long the products lasted, I wore both products all day today with a million errands to run (and even worked out with it on whoops!) and the skin tint lasted through it all. The lip color lasted for most of the day, even threw drinking two cups of coffee and eating lunch. It only officially came off when I decided to apply chapstick hours later.

Glossier products were great cruelty free products that I can't wait to use daily! I am excited to explore more of their vegan products soon!
