Getting to eat pasta with half the carbs and double the protein is a win-win. Banza pasta is one of my favorite chickpea pasta alternatives I eat all the time. I get to eat pasta guilt-free. Just add pesto and you have the perfect combination. This nut-free pesto pasta is satisfying and simple.
With just a simple five ingredients you'll have a quick, healthy Sunday night meal. Fresh basil is the best ingredient you can put in this sauce along with garlic, lemon juice, nutritional yeast, and olive oil. Just place the ingredients into a food processor and you'll have the perfect sauce for any type of pasta you'd prefer.

With so many people having nut allergies this is a recipe that eliminates that worry without ruining the taste. For preference, add 1/2 cup of pine nuts or walnuts.
