Major sweet tooth alert!!! Cinnamon buns are my absolute favorite dessert ever but they have got to have EXTRA icing on them. Wednesday's are my busiest day of the week with three classes, PRSSA, and I usually make time for the gym every Wednesday. A nice, warm cinnamon bun is the perfect ending to the longest day.

This recipe is from Tasty. I have the Tasty app because they honestly have such great vegan recipes I always try out. They make it simple to follow their recipes with step-by-step instructions. I definitely recommend trying out the Tasty app, vegan or not.

Making cinnamon buns takes a lot of the time because they are best when you let them rest for an hour after making the dough and then again after they are in the tray before cooking.

I recommend using a wooden spoon when mixing the dough, it makes the dough stick less and easier to mix. Another thing to do is to make sure you have enough flour on the table before rolling out your dough.

Melt your butter just a little bit before spreading it on the raw dough. If you don't it is difficult to spread and the dough can pull.

You can make the cinnamon buns typically any size you prefer. If you want more, tiny ones cut them about 1 inch. Bigger ones should be cut between 1 1/2 inch and 2 inch.
